This collection is inspired by Rorschach inkblot tests, and the strange way we all see different things in the same image. The artworks are abstract, brightly coloured, alien-like blobs that feel organic, alive, and more than a little sentient. Depending on who’s looking, they might look like animals, bodies, plants, sea creatures, genitalia, figures, or tiny quantum beings doing their thing in space.
What shows up for you has everything to do with you. One person sees something funny, another sees something uncomfortable, familiar, or deeply personal. A memory might surface. A wound. An idea. A sudden epiphany moment, or a brand new idea. There’s no right answer, just whatever your own perspective brings to the surface.
These works act like mirrors. The image stays the same, but the meaning shifts with each viewer. Our experiences, emotions, and inner worlds colour what we see, and the feeling that follows.
So the real question isn’t what is it? But what do you see....and why?
