The Effects of Vegetation on the Subtle Body

$12,200.00

Plants are believed to possess a spirit or essence that transcends their physical form. This concept is deeply rooted in various cultural and spiritual traditions, where plants are revered as sentient beings with their unique consciousness. The spirit of a plant is thought to emanate from its thriving life force, intricate growth patterns, and profound interconnectedness with the natural world.

The interplay between vegetation and the subtle body is a delicate dance of energy and existence.

Plants eat light. Therefore when we eat plants, we take light into our bodies. In a way, every time we take a plant into our bodies, a type of plant surgery happens, and the physical matter of the plant works on the physical matter of our body.

Over the history of humanity, we have used medicinal herbs to treat disease and illness. We have eaten fruits and vegetables to sustain our bodies, and every single plant on Earth does something to heal something else.

Nurturing a respectful and reciprocal relationship with plants is central to acknowledging and honouring their intrinsic spirit, fostering a deep sense of interconnectedness and reverence for all living beings.

Acrylic on Paper

81cm (h) x 59cm (w) x 5cm (d) Framed behind glass
