This piece is a contemplation on polarity. In The Kybalion, a text of Hermetic wisdom, The Principle of Polarity states that all manifested things have 'two sides'; 'two aspects'; 'two poles; and, 'everything has its opposite' with manifold degrees between the two extremes.”
In short, it is the light and the dark, the yin and the yang of everything, and everything in between.
This artwork has been lovingly made using textured acrylic medium and layered with tiny detail over the top using acrylic paint and ink. All layers have been sealed using archival mediums.
This piece has been sealed with UV-resistant varnish to protect the art for years to come.
