This piece was created in amongst a time when I was struggling with my thoughts. I would end up going around and around in circles, and it helped to match my breath to the methodically dotted details as I brought this form into being. I started to pay more attention to the sensory experiences around me, like I was putting out metaphysical antennae’s into the world to absorb through all five senses. This helped me to calm my nervous system and pour my energy into something beautiful and otherworldly.
This artwork has been lovingly made using hand made paper, acrylic skins and collage elements, and layered with tiny detail over the top using acrylic paint and ink. All layers have been sealed using archival mediums.
This piece has been sealed with UV-Resistant varnish to perfectly protect the art for years to come.
This piece was also a finalist in the 2024 Bluethumb Art Prize.
